Brenda T. Vaughn was born in Atlanta Ga. in year 1960
By Emory and Evelyn Thomas, Brenda is the seventh children out of eight siblings.
I was raised in the church all my life.
Her mother Evelyn Brown Thomas passed away at an early age of her life being 4, years of age. Her mother asked her great uncles and aunties to help her father to help raise them, so they took all eight of them under their wings.
Going to church was one of the priorities in their home in both ministers. I was taught at an early age concerning the power of prayer and intercession and having a relationship with God was very important.
Brenda home church is Enon Baptist in Atlanta, Ga. where she was raised up until she got grown.
Later she attends the Sword of the Lord Church in East Point Ga.
I visit Cathedral of Faith on Avon Ave in Atlanta Ga., there was a split in the church, and I followed the Pastor and the New Church was name Cathedral of Divine Love. We was led by the Lord for us to sit under the care of Bishop Flynn Johnson. This is when we started going to Atlanta Metro Cathedral.
Brenda left there and went to the ministry that her son is a Youth Pastor De'Mario Kemp at the time Psalms 23 Ministry under the care of Bishop Major Mcintyre
In year 2015 I was called to walk in one of the ministries, that God has on my life, I started walking and working in the outreach, part of the ministries, Brenda named it The Heart of God International Outreach Ministries. I took this idea to Bishop Larry and Lady Gloria Corker, and it stared growing, I know God was calling me to do something different, Bishop Larry encourages me to walk in the calling of Pastorship. This is how The Heart of God International Outreach Ministries was birth.
